The Oscars 2020 is looming, and with it the promise of glorious red-carpet fashion. For Best Actress nominees Charlize Theron, Renée Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Saoirse Ronan and Cynthia Erivo, there was much exquisite eveningwear on offer at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Best Supporting Actress contenders Florence Pugh, Margot Robbie and Laura Dern will also no doubt have considered the possibility of wearing Valentino’s fresh-off-the-runway fishtail gowns; Chanel’s meticulously crafted monochrome confections, and Dior’s peplos dresses.
