Check Out Our Top Jewellery On The Grammys Red Carpet

Music superstars and notable jewellery moments have long gone hand-in-hand, and at the Grammys 2020, the red-carpet looks were punctuated with the usual diamonds, some unexpected pearls (courtesy of Nick Jonas), plus a little Bulgari malachite for good measure (we’re looking at you, Shawn Mendes).

When it comes to the dress code at the Grammys, the rules are there are no rules – and that goes for the jewellery, too. This year, however, the standout gems were relatively, and refreshingly, subtle. FKA Twigs opted for a vintage droplet necklace and earrings set from bespoke British antique dealer, Bentley & Skinner, while the abbreviated necklaces that dominated at the Golden Globes reappeared on Lizzo, Camila Cabello and Billy Porter (whose meme-worthy motorised hat also featured a liberal helping of bling).

Celebrity favourite Lorraine Schwartz created Ariana Grande’s diamond drop earrings to offset her second look of the night, a grey Schiaparelli two-piece gown, while Cabello teamed her black Versace with a $2 million (£1,531,470) Le Vian necklace featuring 64 carats of diamonds.

Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen and Priyanka Chopra made strong cases for the combination of oversized earrings, deep V-necklines and a bare décolletage.
