Never mind any TV show woes, Tyra Banks has bigger things on her hands these days. Well, smaller things actually: lots of baby clothes! The model and entrepreneur is now a mom, after her surrogate gave birth to a boy named Yorks Banks Asla. Banks made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday.
Banks, who has been candid about her fertility difficulties in the past, wrote on Instagram, “As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Yorks is the first child for 42-year-old Banks; his father is her boyfriend, photographer Erik Asla. Congratulations to the parents!
