I’m certain you will be impressed by the looks which hit the red carpet on Sunday (June 9).
Billy Porter: The ‘Pose’ star has become the king of attention-grabbing red carpet outfits, following his epic Met Gala gold look and black velvet tuxedo dress to the Oscars.
He brought his A+ game once again wearing another tuxedo dress, this time in red, pink and white with a dramatic tulle train.
The frothy creation was designed by Celestino Couture, a Mexican-American designer who specialises in upcycling materials for eco-conscious garments. Billy’s fabric of choice? The red velvet stage curtain that hung on Broadway during his Tony Award-winning performance in Kinky Boots, which closed in April 2019.
Haute Couture came to life on the red carpet as the best of Hollywood were honoured at the 2019 annual Tony Awards compèred by James Corden.

Jordan Roth: Red was also the colour of choice for the Theater producer who wore Givenchy Haute Couture. After googling the producer, it would appearance that when it comes to dramatic red carpet looks, that this is not his first rodeo.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson: The frequent Broadway actor wore a striking green Richard James tux, styled with a Brackish bowtie, Tiffany & Co. cufflinks and shoes from To Boots New York.
Justin Mikita: All I can focus on in this picture is Justin’s David Hart tux featuring a western-inspired print, which neatly ties in the vintage Bolo tie. Justin also styled his look with , Tiffany & Co. cufflinks.
Michael Urie: We all expected something theatrical from Michael, and he didn’t let us down in this Joseph Abboud look. I’m tempted to say that the embellished loafers were a lot considering the detail on the vest and blazer, but I don’t think “less is more” makes up part of Michael’s vocabulary, and I’d like to keep it that way.
Michael Shannon: As one of the presenters on the night, it would’ve been easy for the actor to play it safe in a black suit, so I love that her was more expressive in this Dolce & Gabbana pale blue and white suit styled with shoes from To Boot New York. His wife, Kate Arrington was also decked out in Dolce. This wasn’t an easy look, but Michael pulled it off for me.
Zachary Quinto: It just doesn’t get much better than Armani. I adore the cut of Zachary’s Emporio Armani navy velvet double-breasted evening jacket trimmed with satin. I loved a lot of looks on this red carpet, but this one made me swoon.
Darren Criss: If you were expecting something more flamboyant from Darren Criss, you may be disappointed. Or you may be intrigued by the sleek sophistication of his Givenchy Spring 2019 suit with a collarless blazer.
Jake Gyllenhaal: Again, this Ermenegildo Zegna XXX may go against the grain, but in bitter chocolate, this shawl collar tuxedo, bomber collar dress shirt, and patent leather shoes was a very suave look for Jake.
