In a live video session with Daddy Freeze on Instagram, the veteran Yoruba actor asked Nigerians and his fans in the diaspora for help in covering the costs of his long-term illness treatment.
After seeing the live video, Daddy Freeze introduced Fadeyi Oloro to Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, who grew up watching the actor’s films.
“I know him very well,” he said in his statement. I was young, but we all grew up watching Baba Fadeyi Oloro. He is one of Africa’s major legends.”
The pastor promised to help the ailing actor with a sum of three million naira, which Daddy Freeze had planned to raise, as well as other forms of assistance such as joining hands with others to ensure the Bollywood actor gets back on his feet. He assured Fadeyi Oloro that the promised funds would be delivered soon.
