The Prince of Wales is said to be more concerned with ‘looking to the future’ and ‘getting on with the job’ than fighting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over their contentious docuseries.

‘He says he will never watch it, and I know he definitely won’t,’ a friend of Prince William told the Sunday Times. Another source confirmed the claim, saying, ‘Correct.’

According to another friend, the King and Queen will not watch the six-part series either, but the royal family is said to be keeping up with the news.

Meanwhile, royal sources have called Meghan’s claims that she was completely unprepared for royal life “total lies.”

The Duchess of Sussex claimed in the series that she had no idea what a walk-about was, that she had to Google the national anthem, and that she didn’t know how to curtsy – embarrassingly demonstrating her first attempt, much to her husband’s obvious discomfort.

According to a royal source, Meghan was given a 30-point dossier about her future role by Harry’s then-private secretary Ed Lane Fox six months before their wedding, as well as a list of experts who could assist her.

Another claim that has been called into question is Meghan’s refusal to invite her niece Ashleigh Hale, the daughter of her estranged half-sister Samantha Markle, to her wedding.

‘That simply did not happen,’ a source told the newspaper. ‘We never gave her any advice, steer, or guidance on who should or should not attend her wedding.’

‘I have a very clear memory of her [Meghan] saying that she had a niece who she would have liked to invite in other circumstances, but she didn’t want to invite her because it would have put her under intense scrutiny,’ she says.
