Odion Oseni, Creative Director of the Odio Mimonet has done it again! After having been in the industry for almost 20 years, the brand has consistently shown that it understands what its customers want.
Odio Mimonet is all about creating exclusive yet wearable pieces of art while using the highest quality of materials with impeccable finishing. The AW19 collection showcased at the just concluded Arise Fashion Week was proof of this. The collection featured some pieces from the brand’s Mimi Diffusion line which is focused on outfits made for the relaxed yet stylish Gidi girl who wants to be in touch with her roots
The show opened up with the first and only Miss World from Nigeria, Agbani Darego who was clad in an oversized belted Adire kimono with a matching scarf. The rest of the collection which is definitely for the elegant and stylish women showed more Adire prints, colourful easy to wear outfits and bold slogans like “Living my best life” and “Live Life, Love Lagos” as seen on supermodel Liya Kebede.
The designers signature beading, matted fabric and more from the Odio line were not left out of the mix. Fringes, drapings, ruffles and layered outfits were showcased like never before. For the finale, the Odio Mimonet tribe came out with the designer herself much to the applause of the Style Ravens in the crowd.
