Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, is currently facing criticism on the internet for showing disrespect towards the legendary singer King Sunny Ade and the mother of Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy.
In a video making rounds on social media, Ayra Starr, dressed in her distinctive revealing outfit, attended the Heineken x Afrozons Pre-Grammy Party. It was during this event that she encountered the legendary singer.
In the video, Ayra Starr ignored Burna Boy’s mother, who was seated near another woman whom she warmly embraced. She proceeded to greet King Sunny Ade by shaking his hand without kneeling, a gesture that many perceived as disrespectful.
This has got some celebrities and Netizens slamming Ayra Starr for her lack of respect.
Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson and his wife, Seyi Edun didn’t fail to slam Ayra Starr and remind her of her humble beginnings.
