Ivy Ifeoma, the partner of singer Paul Okoye better known as Rude Boy has replied to a critic who implied that she should aim for more than being someone’s second choice.
On TikTok, Ivy posted a video of herself mouthing the lyrics to the song ‘He Loves Us Both’ by Lila Ike as she listened to it. Captioning the video, she encouraged women not to settle for being anyone’s second choice, she emphasized their uniqueness and the importance of not accepting any form of degradation
“You’re too special to be someone’s second choice”.
Some of her followers highlighted the irony of her being someone’s second choice in her comment section.
One follower, Faith Freeborn, remarked on her being the second choice since Paul Okoye was previously married to Anita Okoye, the mother of his three children, saying, “But you are still second if looking at the other side.”
Ivy Ifeoma replied,
“Whatever you tell yourself to feel good, hun
Another TikTok identified as Blossom Goodlyf noted how she serves as an alternative to Anita. “But let’s tell ourselves the truth, that is 100% true. You really are an alternative and second option”.

After Paul Okoye and Anita divorced in 2021, the singer moved on to Ivy Ifeoma, whom he married traditionally in May.
Videos captured the singer with the influencer and model in her hometown of Igbere, Abia State, participating in the marital ceremonies with her family. There are also reports that Ivy Ifeoma is already pregnant with the singer’s child, which prompted their swift wedding.
Paul Okoye and Anita met during their university days and dated for a decade before tying the knot in 2014. They had three children together before they parted ways.
