Here are eight prominent female Nollywood babes who have dared to fall in love with the husbands of other women.

1. Mercy Aigbe

Mercy Aigbe, a Nollywood fashionista and actor, has tried her hand at love and marriage on multiple occasions.

Mercy was previously married to an Igbo man, with whom she had her first child; they divorced.

Later, Mercy Aigbe met her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry, and they married in 2013: Lanre was previously married to Temitayo, who was based in the United States with their children.

Mercy and Lanre were parents to two children (Juwon Gentry and Michelle Aigbe). In 2017, trouble broke out in their paradise when Mercy posted images of her damaged face and claimed that her husband, Lanre, had beaten her.

The couple divorced as a result of Lanre’s claims of domestic violence and Merch’s adultery.

Mercy Aigbe announced her new husband, Kazim Adeoti, to the public on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. According to rumours, they secretly married in December of last year. In captions, Mercy Aigbe refers to herself as Hajia Minnah.

Their union has created numerous controversies, as Kazim Adeoti is still legally married to Funsho Adeoti, with whom he has three children.

Phillips Ehiagwina, her American-based husband, proposed to her in 2008. After a year, a ‘Ruth Okoro’ emerged, claiming to be Phillips’ wife (as at that time).

Rith wrote an open letter to the actress at the time, warning her to leave her husband alone.

Ini Edo and Philip maintained their love affair, however the pair divorced in 2014. Fortunately for actress Ini Edo, her marriage to Phillip resulted in no children.

Ini Edo has stayed put since then, but she is now a mother through surrogacy.

Mercy Johnson married Prince Odianosen Okojie in 2011, and the couple has four children. Mrs. Lovely Okojie, Prince’s estranged wife, wrote an open letter to Mercy Johnson in 2011 pleading with her to release her husband and find a single guy to marry.

Mercy Johnson was in Europe at the time, planning her wedding to Prince Okojie. Lovely Okojie alleged that Prince Odi Okojie is the biological father of her two children and that he was still legally married to her at the time.

4. Nuella Njubigbo

Nuella Njubigbo on 29 March 2014, got married to film director Tchidi Chikere who was previously married to actress Sophia Chikere for six years, a union which produced 3 kids in her family compound in Anambra State.

Nuella Njubiogo’s relationship with Tchidi did not go down well with the public.any described Nuella as a homewrecker.

Foluke Daramola, a popular Yoruba actress, married Babatunde Sobowale, son of former Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Professor Idowu Sobowale, in 2005, but their marriage ended in 2008 after reports that the actress was abused by her husband over charges of infidelity. Their union resulted in the birth of two children. On February 15, 2013, Foluke married Kayode Salako, an activist and the owner of a private school. According to reports, prior to her marriage to Mr Salako, he was happily married to Olubukola Salako for 13 years before the woman fled with her three children.

Foluke Daramola and Kayode’s love for each other has grown stronger.

7. Ronke Odusanya

According to sources, Ronke Odusanya, well known as Flakky Ididowo, a famous Yoruba actress, secretly married Femi Anibaba in 2014. Femi Anibaba had been married to Folape Sokoya for 12 years and had three children until Ronke stole her heart forever.

According to Folape, Ronke kidnapped her 12-year-old spouse, and the legal wife dragged Ronke (Flakky) on social media for refusing to leave her husband alone.

Meanwhile, the actress has denied marrying Femi.

She and Femi Anibaba never married, according to her press statement to Stella Dimorkus. Despite the fact that he asked her out, she declined after his wife pursued her on social media.

Ronke is currently in a relationship with her baby daddy, Olanrewaju Saheed; they welcomed Fifehanmi on Monday, August 19, 2019.

Funke Akindele was one of Mr Oloyede’s many spouses; according to her, the marriage was misery and nearly destroyed her career.

Funke had quickly backed out of his marriage to Kehinde Oloyede, the father of six children from three separate women.

Funke later married Nigerian rapper Abdul Rasheed Bello, also known as JJC Skillz, in London in May 2016, and they have twin boys.
