The move follows his boxing defeat by Kazakh boxer Almat Bakhytovich, which was described as “embarrassing” following an opening-round stoppage last month.

The fight footage suggested that Gharibi did not have the physique shown in his Instagram photos, which showed him looking big and sculpted. His good looks helped him gain over a million Instagram followers as well as interviews with various western media publications.

He struggled to stay upright or throw any punches during the fight last month.

Gharibi has been deleting photos of himself that show off his enormous size since the fight, and by Thursday, August 25, he had only 14 posts on his page.

The remaining photos and videos on his feed show the Iranian Hulk looking much more human.

Gharibi’s trainer, Hamzeh Moradian, had previously stated that he was “too shy” to spar in public, and there were even rumors that he would withdraw from the fight.

“When we talked, I told him that there is no way Sajad can fight,” Moradian told reporters. I stated that I have no intention of interfering, but I believe it would be better if it were canceled.
