Movies, Music and Fashion for the Covers of House of Maliq’s May 2016 Edition of
House of maliq is out with new covers which features Yemi Alade (music) Swanky Jerry (fashion) and Rachael Okonkwo (Film).
The covers where realsed today and we have some thoughts. Let’s start with…
swanky Jerry: celebrity stylist. costume and styling by him and we like, not so much or over photo shopped.
Rachel Okonkwo : Though a B- or C list actress for now, but she’s definitely one cover girl to look out for. Her style needs a lot of work but with the right style team she would sure be a start to look out for.
yemi Alade: well, a lot of you might not agree but from this point of view is still a fashion wreck and it’s of a huge belief she needs a glam team that under stands what works for her body and shape, most especially her hair and make up. Something is always off all the time.
Yes this is a magazine cover and maybe not her team worked on this but her team should vet it before the release, she’s worked herself to the top and earned that right..
The looks on this cover don’t exactly work for her Most especially the hair ( the purple Hair and the blue hair) didn’t do her right at all. The clothes look cheap and don’t fit right. Don’t get me wrong not all the looks were bad. She looked Okay in the green evening dress the hair and make up worked with it. The Gold dress was a pass, the hair, make up and accessories were a miss. The pick out fit also but the hair and accessories were a miss. The black outfit with the red shoes were a total miss.
