In Nigerian, notably on the microblogging site Twitter, the phrase “to be served breakfast” refers to being dumped by a partner.
The elder sister of Teni disclosed on her Instagram page that her partner had deserted her.
She acknowledged the agony of the breakup, agreed that being a good girl doesn’t pay, and pledged never to be one again.
