The 1970s trend seemed to cross the Atlantic from New York City to Milan this season But the designers brought their own unique twist on the throwback trend with long-sleeve, ruffled shirts featuring long and droopy pussybow details that are commonly associated with the era.Designers such as Roberto Cavalli were in this wheelhouse with a bohemian touch to this trend

HOUNDSTOOTH TREND

This season traditional canine checks get updated,in vivid colour combinations or simply in bold monochrome.

YELLOW TREND

Before you scoff and say “not for me,” hear us out. From amber and canary to saffron and marigold, trust that there is a shade of yellow for everyone. The trick is figuring out your skin’s undertone, then finding the hue that best complements it.

RETRO SKIRT

Evoking a more romantic feel, Giambatista Valli and Chanel both showed pretty pinks embellished with floral applique and sequins, respectively. Although this trend is a hard one to wear in everyday life, these high volume skirts bring us back to a time when ‘dress for dinner’ really meant something. If nothing else, these skirts give us the excuse to make a statement when dressing for a party!
