All round media girl, Jackie Appiah and Shirley Tibilla made her acting debut in ‘Shampaign’, a film directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso and produced by Sparrow Productions. But before her big debut, Shirley, like many actors started out performing in plays.
The University of Ghana, Legon alumni in an interview was quoted saying:
“I am gorgeous, brilliant and ready to accept any role by any film producer. I have always wished to be an actress”
But before her big break in 2016, Shirley Emma Tibilla was once dealing with notes and coins. She had worked at Intercontinental Bank Ghana for a few years before changing course to go after her dream of making it to the big screen. Now, 3 years later, she is still chasing her dreams, starring in movies, hosting on TV, radio and events, and doing it all in style – effortless style!
The “Tales from the Powder room” host might not yet be as popular as Ghanaian actresses like Jackie Appiah but her social media presence is undeniably cool; her over 160,000 followers can attest to this.
Showing a preference for timeless feminine looks, it’s pretty obvious that Shirley isn’t one to follow trends but goes for what works for her body type and vibrant personality.
