Elie Saab World over the years have grown to become a very successful fashion brand as their Pre-fall 2023 collection was displayed with all elegance. The fashion house use of bold bright colors are indeed impeccable; the long dark gowns, shimmering V neck outfits and other amazing designs.

Saab may have avoided all references in favor of emphasizing the fundamentals—color, shape, and fabric. The designer’s decision to use scuba textiles was most surprising, but it paid off in the form of a red dinner dress with floral appliqués, a lovely portrait neckline, and the “hug”-like fit that the material is known for.
Saab wanted sophistication, and his use of color helped him achieve it. He concentrated more on “recherche” grenadine than red, for instance. The designer has previously experimented with “hoodies,” but the models for this season, worn with midi skirts, were convincing. He had his pants cut full, which is consistent with the rest of the season. The lacy white lingerie dresses are similar. These, along with numerous other pieces, utilized fil à broder (thread embroidery), a deliberate decision on the side of Saab, who this season was more concerned with lightness and simplicity than sparkle.
