COZA: Modele Fatoyinbo prays against church bullies as her husband, Biodun Fatoyinbo returns to pulpit

The Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo has returned to the pulpit, not more than a month after he stepped down following multiple allegations of sexual assault.

Recall that Fatoyinbo had announced via Instagram on July 1 that he will be taking a “leave of absence from the pulpit of the church”.

He added in his statement at the time, that stepping down will “enable me to submit to the concerns of my spiritual mentors as they consider all the issues that have been raised against me”.

A video shared from his church in Abuja showed members rejoicing and giving him a rousing welcome as he mounted the pulpit – the screaming went on for quite a while before the church calmed and he began preaching about “sudden victories”.

His wife, Modele Fatoyinbo, seized the opportunity of her husband’s return to the pulpit to throw shades at those she described as ”bullies” of God’s children.

Mrs. Fatoyinbo who has stood by her husband since the rape scandal began in June, prayed for God to have compassion on him and that God will turn those who have bullied the church into slaves and that they will become slaves of the COZA ministries.

It’s not yet been stated for sure if Fatoyinbo’s “spiritual mentors” have considered the issues raised against him and what conclusions they have arrived at, but Biodun Fatoyinbo returned to the pulpit yesterday, August 4, 2019, exactly one month after he stepped down.
