There aren’t many original films coming to Netflix in the final few weeks of the year, but there is at least one more major family film: Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, a sequel that has been in the works for over a quarter century. We believe that this film will soon be near the top of Netflix’s most popular films.

Meanwhile, Love and Monsters, a post-apocalyptic adventure, has proven to be a formidable rival on Netflix. It’s even outperforming The Super Mario Bros. Movie right now, which is quite an accomplishment in and of itself. There’s a lot to look forward to this month, and we only have two weeks till we wave goodbye to 2023.
