The Africa fashion week Nigeria 2022 is currently ongoing in Lagos. The 3-day event began on the 7th of September and will end on the 9th of September. The event is an opportunity for designers and exhibitors to showcase their creativity and art.

The 2022 Africa fashion week aims to promote and nurture emerging Nigerian and African designers. the event which is taking place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria will feature many programs.
The fashion week comprises an Adire online challenge powered by Masterclasses, an exhibition of different African brands, musical performances by some selected artists, runway does, an Adire workshop, and an award presentation.
The Africa fashion week 2022 features a master class with the king of fashion Toyin Lawani. Celebrities including Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Blessing CEO, Diadem, and many more also grace the event to talk about different life-changing topics and also inspire youth with their stories. The Toyin Lawani master class which is among the program for the fashion week will feature a scholarship for 5 lucky winners.

For the runway show, over 60 designers will be showcasing their designs at the fashion week. Among the designers showcasing their collection includes Atoke Atelier, Asooke by Minaladi, Anasam Collection, Kola Kuddus, Lordiva, Demi Clothings, Helms, Modesty Signature, Max Chidera, Glue by Nasir Elias, and IK Pen.
