Brymo and Burna Boy

In September, singers, Brymo and Burna Boy were at loggerheads with each other over music. The drama began when Brymo stated that Burna Boy tagged himself as the Jesus of Afrobeats. Shading him, Brymo labelled Burna a thief, unoriginal, cheap and fake musician. He also added that the latter didn’t deserve to win a Grammy award.

In response, Burna Boy passed a subtle shade in a freestyle song by advising his fans to hustle so that don’t end up like Brymo.

Known for not wanting to back down, Brymo quickly hit back at Burna Boy by stating that he is a foolish boy with tasteless lyrics.

Kiddwaya and Erica

Big Brother ‘Lockdown’ former housemate, Kiddwaya threw shade at his exes, which includes Erica Nlewedim.

The billionaire hair shared a picture of him and American rapper and model, Rubi Rose and shower her with praises. He went on to crown Rose cutest over his exes. This comes a few days after Erica and Kiddwaya unfollowed each other on Instagram for the third time.

Reports suggest that Erica unfollowed Kidd after he declared himself single in a recent interview. The duo were an item during their stay in Biggie’s house, they continued with their relationship outside the house but parted ways following a series of issues.

Yomi Fabiyi and Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actor and film producer, Yomi Fabiyi has always shaded his colleague, Iyabo Ojo over issues she has ties with. First, it was the case of their senior colleague, Baba Ijesha who was imprisoned for raping a teenager. The controversial issue which saw Yomi Fabiyi drum support for the embattled actor led him on a continuous journey of shading Iyabo Ojo at the slightest opportunity.

In the latest shade, Yomi Fabiyi shaded Iyabo Ojo, clearly stating that she is not a good mother and noting that her alias, ‘Queen Mother’ doesn’t befit her. This comes after the actress took a fight against embattled singer, Naira Marly following the death of his ex-signee, Mohbad.

Tacha and Mercy Eke

Reality TV star, Tacha shaded her colleague, Mercy Eke over a car.

Mercy, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 4 which saw Tacha disqualified after they got into a heated argument flaunted her new Range Rover most stylishly by pulling it from a distance with a red ribbon while she tagged it her pet and a Christmas present.

Recreacting Mercy’s stunt, Tacha also showed off her Range Rover calling it her Christmas present. This sparked a debate between their fans as some speculated that Tacha was copying Mercy, and others believed they were always trying to outdo each other.

The situation got more intriguing when Tacha posted a tweet saying, “But is she me?” This cryptic post made things more intense, and many believed she was shaded Mercy.

Tacha’s tweet suggested she wanted to make it clear that, despite any similarities, she sees herself as unique. This is not the first time Tacha has said something controversial.

Patrick Doyle and Isreal DMW

Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle shaded Isreal DMW, the personal logistics manager of Afrobeats singer, Davido over his marital crisis.

Isreal DMW and his estranged wife, Sheila Courage brought their marital crisis before the association of online in-laws and laid strong allegations against each other.

Consequently, Isreal who bragged about meeting his wife as a virgin placed a curse on her if she dared to lay with another man.

Weighing into the matter indirectly via his Facebook page, Patrick Doyle shaded Israel while stating that only a bad person would get into drama on social media with an ex they’ve been intimate with.

 Rita Edochie and Judy Austin

As it stands, Rita Edochie will continually shade her junior colleague, Judy Austin for reasons known to all.

In a nutshell, the beautiful and admired home of Yul Edochie and his wife May became a shadow of itself and broke after Judy Austin who has been in Yul life (cheating) came to public awareness.

Yul who is a proud polygamist tied the knot with Judy and shared two children with her. All these while, the actor who had a thriving career became an object of ridicule on social media and continually faced scrutiny for tearing his home apart. Oh! It is worth noting that he lost his first son, Kambilichukwu. While May went into months of mourning, Yul bounced back to his normal life with his second wife in three weeks.

In a corner is Rita Edochie, a senior colleague and aunt to Yul who has always drummed support for May.

Well, according to online in-laws, Rita Edochie is the weapon fashioned against Judy Austin as she has continued to drag her in every way possible. In August, Rita shaded Judy after she stated that the supposed family present at her hidden wedding was rented. In September, Rita shaded Judy stating that she would be forced to release Yul from whatever cage she put him in.

In other posts on her social media handles, Rita stated that Judy entered into Edochie’s family to k!ll and destroy. She was quick to remind her that nothing lasts forever.
