Wande Coal and TuFace Idibia shakes Makurdi

The city of Makurdi came alive on Saturday night as thousands of music lovers gathered at IBB Square for the maiden edition of Star Music The Trek 2016.
Hosted by Gbenga Adeyinka, the show started on an exceptionally high note with an array of budding musicians who dazzled the audience with their performances. However, the previous night, a show held to herald Star Music The Trek featured a surprise appearance by 2baba, who whetted the appetite of fans ahead of the main concert the following day.
During the main concert broadcast live on HipTV, fans witnessed amazing performances from their favourite artistes including Burna Boy, Ice Prince, Cynthia Morgan, and Wande Coal, who took his stagecraft a notch higher by performing hit songs like Bumper-to-Bumper, Se Na Like This, Super Woman, Booty Call, and My Woman, My Everything.
On his part, Ice Prince sang timeless songs such as Oleku, Aboki, Excellency, and That Could Be Us. The concert also saw an amazing dance routine from Cynthia Morgan, who performed her new single, Bubble Bup and scintillated the crowd with songs like I’m Taken, Lead Me On, Popori, and the crowd-pleasing German Juice. Burna Boy equally had his game on, as he serenaded the crowd with amazing songs like Don Gorgon, Yawa Dey, Won Da Mo, and Oluwa Burna.
With the combination of skillful backup singers, headline act, 2Baba kept the party on a high mode through to the early hours of Sunday morning when the concert came to an end. On Saturday October 8, the Star Music Trek train heads to Abuja for the second concert in the lineup of its five-city tour.
