Kid Cudi Ordered to Stay Away From Baby Mama
Last Wednesday, Kanye West took offense to some less-than-complimentary words Kid Cudi had tweeted about him. Never one to bite his tongue, the “Famous” rapper fired back at Cudi in the middle of a concert in Tampa, Florida that night.
“Kid Cudi, don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. I birthed you,” West, 39, said from the stage. “We all dealing with that emo s— all the time – me, Pat, Don C. Don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. Don’t try to say who I can do songs with. You mad ’cause I’m doing songs with Drake? Ain’t nobody telling ‘Ye who to do songs with! Respect the God!”
But now it looks like relations are thawing between the hip hop titans. Last night during a show in Houston, West had a much kinder message for his fellow artist.
“I just wanted to take time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother,” he said, calling him “the most influential artist of the past 10 years, and I hope he’s doing well.”

“The trouble began when Kid Cudi tweeted, “I need y’all to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know Im bout to crush their entire [existence]. Everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them.” He then turned his attention to West specifically. “My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These n—– dont give a f— about me. And they aint f—in with me.”
Meanwhile a judge ruled that Kid Cudi needs to stay away from his baby mama and their grade school-aged daughter, according to theJasmineBRAND.com.
The former G.O.O.D. Music artist allegedly sent 168 text messages to the mother, Jacqueline Munyasya, over a period of four days, berating her and threatening to call child services on her. Another time, while she was attending her father’s funeral, she says he blasted her for allowing their daughter to play Pokemon, saying he didn’t want the child, whose name is Vada, “hanging around a bunch of white people” and that “Vada don’t look like anyone in your family.”
She says that his past words have caused her to fear for her life and that his negative social media posts about her have caused threats of violence.
She claims that he threatened to create a #JusticeforVada campaign, demanding custody of the little girl; that he would spread throughout social media and create T-shirts for.
Cudi is reportedly not present in his daughter’s life even though he demands to see her. When he comes to Chicago, where the mother and the child live, he never reaches out to visit.
The drama has lasted for years after Munyasya first took Cudi to court back in 2010, which ignited a custody battle. She ultimately won primary physical custody after the musician threw in the towel.
In the recent ruling the judge ordered for the Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven artist to stay away from Munyasya and the child. Cudi is not allowed to call, text or email his baby mama. He also may not use a third party communication to reach her.
The order of protection is in effect through August 18, 2017.
