YouTube TV is thought to be the second-largest live streaming service in the US, trailing only Hulu With Live TV. We last heard from the service in October 2020, when it claimed to have “more than 3 million” paid subscribers. It hasn’t been updated since then, and Hulu With Live TV recently claimed that it has returned to 4 million premium members.

The basic plan on YouTube TV is $65 per month and includes roughly 100 live (or linear) channels, including your local broadcast affiliates. YouTube TV is also one of the few providers that provides live programming in 4K resolution, albeit it will cost you an extra $20 per month. It also includes the above-mentioned optional add-ons, as well as HBO Max ($15 per month), NBA League Pass ($29 per month or $200 per year), and sports ($11 per month) and entertainment ($30) packages.

YouTube TV is available on all major streaming platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, Apple TV, smart TV systems, game consoles, and web browsers.
