Nollywood stars, Iyke Okey and Florence Okechukwu, famous for their roles in Tinsel as Chuks and Ene, celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary today, 17th April 2023.
Iyke shared a video collage of himself and his wife, detailing their journey as a couple on his Instagram page. Captioning the post, he wrote:
“It’s 10 years baby!!! No be God!! My Soulmate, My PFL, my Heart, with God by our side, we will continue to ‘Mar’ ‘Age’ with Love.
“I love you, truly madly deeply.”
Tinsel is a Nigerian soap opera that premiered in August 2008. It was produced by Darien Amos for M-Net and is the longest-running Nigerian television drama series.
The show is set in modern-day Lagos and follows the lives of two rival families, the Ade-Williams and the Tade-Williams, as they navigate their personal and professional lives, including their careers in the entertainment industry.
The show features an ensemble cast of talented actors and has tackled a variety of social issues, including domestic violence, corruption, and HIV/AIDS. Tinsel has won several awards, including the Best TV Drama at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, and has gained a large following in Nigeria and across the African continent.
Iyke Okey and Florence Okechukwu tied the knot in 2013 and have two children together.
