Supernatural, a popular virtual reality workout app, is teaming up with comedian Tiffany Haddish to launch a new workout series.
The collaboration, which is part of its upcoming This Year, Be You campaign, will add four new workouts for users to check out once 2022 arrives. Each of Supernatural’s main fitness categories will have one new routine. Expect to be transported to virtual locations resembling beaches in Spain and Portugal, rice terraces in China, and salt flats in Bolivia.
After developer Within discovered Haddish was a big fan of its app, the two decided to collaborate. Haddish took to Instagram in April to lament the fact that she had broken the strap to her Oculus Meta Quest headset while working out with Supernatural. Within, which is at the center of an FTC investigation involving Meta’s plan to acquire the studio, sent her a custom headset the next day. “Last year, I became addicted to Supernatural,” Haddish explained. “I’ve never felt stronger or had more fun working out.”
Beginning January 1st, 2022, all four workouts will be available.
