“There’s beef and envy in almost every extended family in Igbo land” Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor, Yuk Edochie has addressed the issue of beef and envy among the Igbos.

Taking to his Instagram page, Yul who is of Igbo decent and the son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie stated that many families, and cousins are bearing malice against each other because their parents bad-mouthed the other to them.

Interestingly, the he noted how some can’t recall the reason for the misunderstanding.

Yul who as since answered the call of his creator to be a clergyman added that there is beef and envy in nearly every extended family in Igbo land, which he finds contradictory given that they attend church on Sundays.

He wrote,

“Many families, cousins are bearing malice against each other, cos of something their parents told them that the other parents did to them donkey years back.

“Some can’t even remember the reason for the quarrel. There’s beef and envy in almost every extended family in Igbo land.

Yet, every Sunday they’re in Church. Makes no sense”.
