The Lookbook & Runaway Looks On Women Across Africa – June 8

What we find so exciting about discovering looks from African women is that each week comes with a totally different sartorial vibe. If it’s not aesthetically pleasing looks, it is designs that break the mould and leave our jaws literally hanging.

For last week’s roundup, we’ve selected only the most rave-worthy of looks per usual. Most of the pieces worn by the featured celebrities and influencers were created by fellow African designers – talk about supporting home-grown talents. This has become a sort of culture for many African female celebrities, especially the ones on this list. The idea is, if you are going to buy something or invest in a brand, why not from your own?

From incredibly cut two pieces as rocked by Ini Dima-Okojie to the perfect lace dress as played by Toke Makinwa, there’s a lot to love on this list. There is also a lot to be inspired by as most of the looks are achievable or acquirable. Ready to be inspired by last week’s fresh finds?

Here’s how African women rocked the week ending on June 1 in Lookbook & Runaway…
