Award-winning Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has issued a stern warning to the general public amid reports of welcoming twins with his wife, Chioma.

Glamsquad Magazine notes that reports have been making rounds  that the singer and his wife welcomed twin babies. The report also stated that the twins arrived at about 9 p.m. on Monday.

Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu, a famous Nigerian clergy, shared a hint about the delivery in a post on his Church’s official Facebook page on Tuesday morning.

As proof, the cleric shared his supposed WhatsApp chat with Davido.

Consequently, Celebrities such as Iyabo Ojo, Victoria Iyanma and bloggers took to Instagram to congratulate the celebrity couple.

They also shared a video clip Davido shared on his social media pages and a picture of the supposed new parents on a hospital bed.

Reacting via his X page, Davido stated that people should stop circulating the picture of when he welcomed his late son, Ifeanyi.

The 31 year old wrote;

While the couple has not officially confirmed the news, Davido sparked speculation when he alluded to his wife potentially becoming the ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in his song ‘In The Garden,’ featuring Morravey.

The singer also took to Twitter on Sunday, expressing that this week would be the most incredible week of his life.

Adding to the speculation, his brother, Adewale Adeleke, shared gratitude to God on Twitter, though he didn’t provide more details, simply tweeting, “We thank God.”
