The 2023 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) was held on 29th October 2023 at the Balmoral convention center, Sheraton, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Nigerian actors such as Tobi Bakre received the Best Actor in a Leading Role; Nse Ikep-Etim became the first Nigerian to win the Best Lead Actress award after four years.
Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo won the best overall film at the awards.
