POST COVID19: CHINA ORGANIZES A ‘FASHION SHOW’ OF PPE KITS

Months after China exported the deadly and dreaded corona virus to several parts of the world, the country held a fashion show exhibiting what it said to be the latest styles in personal protective gear.


In a bid to leverage on the effect of the pandemic which has forced several nations into purchasing protective equipments, China held a fashion show where it displayed an array of protective gears manufactured by Chinese companies.

A variety was featured at the China-Dandong Fashion week in the Country’s northeastern region of Liaoning.

It is worthy of note that at the beginning of the covid19 pandemic, protective gears purchased from China by several nations failed to meet up the safety standards, and turned out to be faulty.

India received about 63,000 protection kits which failed to meet quality standards.

The Netherlands had gotten about 600,000 masks from China, only to discover that they didn’t meet quality and safety standards.
