Evidence suggests that Chris Brown ‘s home invasion may have been carried out by club promoters. Police are
currently investigating a lead that suggests club promoters who recently paid Chris Brown $50,000 for an appearance are behind the recent invasion of his home.
Though Brown was not present at the time of the invasion, his aunt was shoved into a closet and held hostage while
the rest of the house was searched.
According to TMZ , the robbers made it very clear to her that they knew the house belonged to Brown. What’s more, they referenced the $50,000 as they looked for a safe. Police sources say only a few people were aware of that particular sum of cash. Breezy’s mom theorized that some of her son’s “friends” were behind the invasion. Looks like she wasn’t too far off base.
