Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), met with US Vice President Kamala Harris in Paris, France.
On the fringes of the three-day Paris Peace Forum, the two met at a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais Elysée.
Mr. Adesina and Mrs. Harris took a selfie together.
Adesina said it was fantastic to meet the first woman and the first black woman to be vice president of the United States in a tweet sent early Friday.

President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Paris on Tuesday for the forum which will be concluded on Saturday, November 13.
