Simisola Kosoko better known as Simi, one of Nigeria’s sensational female singers has shed light into the relationship with her colleague and friend, Folarin Falana better known as Falz.
Recall that before the private marriage of Simi and singer, Adekunle Gold on 9th January 2019, in Lagos, there were rumors circulating that the ‘Duduke‘ crooner was in a romantic relationship with Falz.
Similar to her relationship with Adekunle Gold, Simi neither confirmed nor denied the existence of any relationship or chemistry between her and Falz.
While featuring in the interview segment of MTV Base Africa’s programme, Official Naija Top 10, Simi talked down memory lane and noted that she had a good working relationship with Falz.
According to her, fans were responsible for rumours that made rounds that they were dating because of their sonic chemistry, which many people claimed was so amazing.
“He [Falz] did a verse on my song, ‘JAMB Question Remix’. And I was like, ‘Ah! Me and this guy, there is a vibe there.’ So, we did ‘Soldier’, and everybody was like, the chemistry is so amazing.
“We never saw that. People bought what we were not selling. And we were like, okay, this is a strategy.
So, we did ‘Chemistry’ the album. People gave us the name and the idea. We never actually came and say, oh, we are dating”.
It is worth nothing that on 27th October 2016, Simi and Falz released a collaborative extended play titled ‘Chemistry’.
