Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, popularly known as Joeboy has shared some relationship tips with men who seek to understand the depth of a woman’s affection.
Joeboy shared his relationship tips during an honest conversation on Madame Joyce’s podcast, ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’.
According to him, a clear indicator of sincere interest is when a woman demonstrates a willingness to invest in her partner, not always through extravagant displays, but rather through thoughtful and considerate expenditures.

He said,
“The easiest way to know if a woman genuinely likes you is if she’s ready to spend on you.
“It doesn’t have to be anything crazy [expensive]. It can be just a situation of ‘Oh! I saw this shirt that I really like and I think it will look good on you.”
Joeboy believes that during the initial months of a relationship, it’s reasonable to expect small tokens of appreciation from one’s significant other. He further stated that these gifts need not break the bank; it’s the thoughts behind them that count.
“Three months into a relationship, you can start expecting gifts from your partner. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, just little things.
“A lot of people don’t understand that men are not used to getting gifts so whenever they get a gift even if it’s socks, we appreciate it a lot.”
Joeboy also mentioned that he is open to marrying his current girlfriend. Describing their relationship as “pure intense helpless love.”
