Toyin had received harsh criticism following an encounter with Instagram skit creator Sydney Talker. This was labeled as ‘inappropriate’ by many.
A viral video of the couple hugging tightly at an event set the internet on fire, with fans condemning it as inappropriate.
The actress was at a meet-and-greet at the cinema when she ran into the skit creator, who made a scene by hugging her tightly.

The hug sparked outrage among netizens and fans, who chastised the actress for allowing the 27-year-old to hold her so tightly.
Despite the backlash, Toyin took to the comments section to reveal that she also received a kiss from him.
“This video is not my complete self, person who even kissed me,” she wrote.
