On Saturday, Obidiz responded via his Twitter page, saying he only sang a song and did not commit murder.

He explained that the song was inspired by a woman he met.

“Na song I sing, I don’t kill people,” he wrote.

“Mercy Chinwo for church o but Cardi B set for club” “Talks about a girl I met, she’s the one I sing about, but una wan crucify me,” Obidiz explained.
