Michael Kors Fall-Winter 2023 Ready To Wear Collection

Michael Kors Runway Show for New York Fashion Week FW23 Ready To Wear Collection displayed some remarkable designs which will be remembered in history of NYFW. The fashion show which started with models walking from behind pillars nicely decorated in leaves.

In the collection, you would notice that the models wore a iron belt which look like something made of leather. Similar tricks were employed by Kors here, fusing his signature urban chic tailoring with the carefree yet hedonistic mood of vacation clothing. Bandeaus and sarongs were covered by an elongated jacket, while maillots were worn with voluminous pleated trousers.

The button-down, which was previously the standard accompaniment for a suit, was almost entirely eliminated, and when it did show up, it was undone all the way to the navel. The legs got plenty of play with all the fringed pareos, but the décolletage was the erogenous zone and was naturally braless.

Not only was Kors parodying his 1970s idols, but he was also quoting himself because he is a key figure in American fashion. Following 9/11, he displayed a spring 2002 collection that included the gold buckles. These served as inspiration for the striking gold necklaces from which he hung liquid expanses of jersey in vibrant lime green and poppy red.

Other evening alternatives were a stunning crimson silk caftan and Kors’ tried-and-true sequined stretch jersey. Favorite Kors models Natasha Poly and Carmen Kass are also making a reappearance. This time, body-con isn’t just for young adults and teenagers.
