Carolina Herrera Fall-Winter 2023 Collection

Carolina Herrera FW23 Collection was as classy as every other collection being displayed by the brand over the years as they displayed some impeccable designs. The show which started with models walking down some flight of stairs.

The models hesitated before going down a staircase as they left the backstage area. That was appropriate because Gordon excels at creating entrances for every situation. He previously stated that he enjoys blending the lines between day and night, thus a short skirt suit was adorned with rows of huge crystals, and a fitted sheath was made from cotton poplin with yellow and white striped fabric.

Gordon feels more at home than ever at Herrera. The Empress, a Netflix series that is based on Sisi of Austria’s court in 19th-century Vienna, was brought up backstage. He said he related to it because “the same combination is what formed Mrs. Herrera and what made the house—that discipline and severity with the flamboyance”

In this collection, there were a few outliers in the form of sculpted tulle creations that tended toward the eccentric rather than the flamboyant, but overall Gordon hit many of the right notes: a purple and green blanc de chine used for another voluptuously draped long dress came from a 19th century woodblock print he found.
