Lord Lamba breaks silence on Queen’s engagement drama

Nigerian skitmaker, Promise Kelvin Anagbogu, better known as Lord Lamba, has spoken out about the controversy surrounding his social media acknowledgement of his daughter, Princess.

A few days ago, Lord Lamba faced a series of criticism from internet users who condemned him for acknowledging his daughter on the same day his baby mama, Queen Mercy Atang, announced her engagement to her partner.

He was also criticised for denying the paternity of his child and keeping her away. Lord Lamba was also accused of trying to sabotage his baby mama’s engagement.

However, Lord Lamba denied the accusations and clarified that he had no intention of hindering Queen’s pursuit of happiness.

Lamba said that he posted about his daughter to clarify her paternity, hence captioning the post with her full name. He emphasized that choosing to live a private life does not diminish the relationship he shares with his daughter, stating that he has been a father figure to her.

He also addressed the situation between himself and Queen, acknowledging that things did not work out between them. However, he emphasized their commitment to providing the best for their daughter despite not being together.

Lord Lamba made these revelations during a private conversation with Wale Jana, which the latter shared and later deleted on Instagram.

He wrote;

“There were rumours saying this child was for her husband to be they thought it was lordlamba because of her engagement.

So I posted my child to let people know that is my child, with the caption of her full name, I have always wanted my personal life private which includes my family, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been a father figure to my baby girl even if things didn’t work out for both of us that doesn’t mean she is a bad person or I’m the bad person, but all I want is a proper upbringing for princess, it’s not her fault the mom and dad are not together so we owe that child the best life ever.”
