King of Boys: Charlyboy drops ‘Odudubariba’ after playing role in movie

Following the astonishing success of the Nollywood blockbuster, the King of Boys: the return of the King, Popular Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, better known as Charlyboy, has dropped his song, Odudubariba after playing the role in the Netflix adopted movie.

The singer-activist made this known in a statement released on Tuesday, September 20.

“My people, the eagle has landed. I been tell una say, I no dey finish.

“The long-awaited Odudubariba music film video has dropped today.

“Watch out, it’s playing on all your TV channels.”

Glam Squad Magazine recalls that Charlyboy in the Netflix-adopted series ‘King of Boys’ directed by Kemi Adetiba played the role of ‘Odudubariba.’

‘Odudubariba’ is one of the elders on the round table who intends to take over the crown from Sola Sobowale and become ‘King of Boys.’

When asked why he accepted the role in King of Boys despite turning down other movie roles, Charlyboy in an interview with Daily Post said that he accepted the role because he’s a fan of Kemi Adetiba and it was an honour to be invited for such a role.
