Josie Maran’s ‘Clean’ Beauty Relaunch: Fresh Packaging, New Scents

Josie Maran, known for her innovative approach to clean beauty, has recently relaunched her brand with new packaging and scents. Maran’s commitment to using natural, eco-friendly ingredients in her products has made her a leader in the clean beauty movement.

In 2007, the model, actress, and “clean” beauty pioneer started her California-based skin care and cosmetics firm, long before the trend was named. With argan oil at the heart of her creations, her objective has always been to produce products free of dangerous chemicals while also considering the environment.

She is returning her hero items exclusively with Sephora in the “clean” category, beginning with her range of body goods. There’s 100% Pure Argan Oil, Sugar and Argan Oil Body Scrub, and Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter (Maran claims one is sold every 14 seconds). The last two come in unscented versions of “Vanilla Vibezzz,” “Topless Tangerine,” and “Bohemian Fig.” The trio will be available at Sephora shops, online, and starting February 29. Industry sources predict that the rebrand will produce $100 million in sales by 2024.
