INEC officials have refused to show up at designated VGC polling unit – Actress Omoni Oboli reveals

Omoni Oboli took to Instagram to express concern after INEC officials allegedly failed to appear at the polling unit in VGC, Lagos, glamsquad reports

The Nollywood actress, along with others such as motivational speaker Fela Durotoye and his wife, beauty entrepreneur Tara Durotoye, are awaiting their turn to vote.

She posted a video on Instagram complaining that they arrived early and prepared to wait for INEC, only to learn that INEC officials have stated that they will not enter VGC and have asked voters to meet them at the express.

 

Omoni explained that the location has always served as the polling place for all VGC residents. She then questioned how thousands of people would be expected to walk all the way to the polling station just to vote.

 

Others in the polling unit are heard complaining about the same thing and questioning why INEC would do such a thing.
