“I’m Underpaid, Undervalued” – DJ Cuppy Breaks Silence on Women’s Survival in Entertainment Industry

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy has broken silence on women’s survival in entertainment industry.

DJ Cuppy narrated how the entertainment industry is male dominated and the need to develop more zeal and strong spirit in order to sustain the test of time as a female DJ.

DJ Cuppy also expressed dissatisfaction and disappointment on how female entertainers are underpaid and undervalued

She revealed that she has a particular aesthetic which she fight to the present stage.

In her words as captured by glamsquad,

“Going into a male-dominated space, you have to have zeal and be strong. Women have to work twice as hard to get half as much done. Compared to my male counterparts, I ‘m still underpaid, undervalued and according to them, I have a particular aesthetic which I fight to this day.”
