Olubankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, a famous Nigerian singer-turned-politician, has revealed that he once prayed not to marry someone in the entertainment industry, glamsquad reports

Revealing this on Wednesday while celebrating his wife, Adesua Etomi on her birthday in a post shared on his Instagram page, Banky W noted that “God’s plans are much better than anything we could have dreamt up for ourselves.
“When I was ready for a wife, I specifically told God that I didn’t want someone in the entertainment industry because my life was unstable enough. I wanted a 9-to-5 job in banking, telecommunications, aviation, or oil and gas. I didn’t want someone with a crazy job like mine.
“When Susu prayed for a husband, she specifically told God she didn’t want a musician, a politician, or a pastor. Lol. But now, almost six years into our marriage, it’s clear that God’s plans were far superior to anything we could have imagined for ourselves.
“So, @adesuaetomi, I’d like to congratulate you. It’s all about ‘you’ for me. Thank you for loving me and giving birth to Z. I don’t know where or who I would be without you. The one thing I’ve learned is that no one is perfect. But you’re just right for me. I adore you more than ever. I’ll always love you.”
