Reality TV star and entertainer, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor better known as Phyna has revealed her fear of being in a relationship with a single father.
According to Phyna, hesitates to date a single father because of the challenges associated with dealing with the child’s mother.
She emphasized that she would only consider a relationship with a single father if the child’s mother is already married to someone else.
Phyna shared her thoughts on the issue in the latest episode of her podcast, “Spill With Phyna,” during her conversation with Tacha.
She expressed worries about potential “baby mama drama,” highlighting the complications that might arise, especially if the child’s mother continued to be actively involved in the man’s life.
She emphasized that she has witnessed situations where the mother of the child causes drama and issues for the man.
Phyna said:
“I am not sure I can date a guy that has a child. I’ve met two guys who have children, these are my friends and I’ve seen the drama around it. I’ve seen situations where the baby mama will come and be like ‘who are you now leaving me for?
The stress is more than when a girl has a child and it’s more chaotic with guys. Even if the men don’t like you, even if they don’t want to settle down with you, the baby mama just doesn’t want them to move on.”
