#HLFDW2017 DAY 1 RUNWAY REVIEW

Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2017 kicked off on Wednesday, October 25 at the Eko Atlantic ,  this years event comes with loads of fun activites and fun stuff to do .  If you are unable to see the shows , you get to be a part of other fun stuff happen at the venue ; the curators lounge and the art, make up and exhibition stands .
The runway kicked off with Mofara FF, a men’s and women’s wear brand. With a lot of eye catching and metalic satorial peices  it was cool way to start the evening .
The evening took us on a fab , story telling , insightful and inspirational ride. And some of highlights of the evening came from Titi Belo, Omilua, Jzo, Ugo monye, Style Telmple, 8th Wanda and a fabulous close from Ejiro Amos Tafiri.
Titi Belo took us back to her Queens college days and the late 90’s into the early 2000’s.Omilua came with a modern african and french twist. Jzo stayed true to aesthetics and morden African man style , style temple was very inspiring with a lot of fluidity and power looks, if you can use the word satorial elegance Ugo monye set a new trend and standard for the Nigeran man’s style, he’s embellished half length agabda was everything and Eki Orleans was very chic and sensual ane finally ejiro sealed with a dose of freshness.
Themed ‘Africa: Shaping Fashion’s Future’, the 7th edition of the highly anticipated runway show returned with lots of innovative African designs, memories ,  techniques, fluidity and freshness . And we are more than excited to see what day 2 has in for us.
