Fun facts about Alan Fisher that broke two Guinness World Records for longest cooking marathon

Hilda Bassey, a Nigerian celebrity chef, has reacted after Alan Fisher, an Irish chef based in Japan, broke two Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner and chef based in Japan, set two Guinness World Records for cooking marathons on Monday, according to reports.

Fisher cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes, breaking the previous record of 93 hours and 11 minutes set earlier this year by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci.


In addition, he set a new record for the longest baking marathon, baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, breaking the previous record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.

Reacting, Hilda Baci, on her X page, congratulated him.

She wrote, ”Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder.”
