Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayodeji Makun, often known as AY, has spoken on the Sunday night fire that destroyed his home in Lagos.
A popular video posted on social media by the user @Postsubman reveals that AY’s home was completely destroyed by fire on Sunday. The multi-story building’s roof was on fire.

Many AY colleagues and fans, including his younger brother and fashion designer Yomi Casual, expressed their sympathy for the comedian and his family in response.
In order to thank God for keeping his family safe, AY posted videos and photographs of his wife and kids while they were on holiday in another country on his Instagram page.
He wrote:
“Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”
The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.
