Former Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick has publicly called out award-winning Afrobeat singer, Davido for breach of contract with his organisation.

Pinnick, while speaking on stage at his event, ‘Warri Again’ openly voiced his disappointment regarding Davido’s notable absence from his event, scheduled for Friday, October 6th, despite having extended a significant sum of money for the artist’s performance.

He claimed that a substantial sum of $94,000 was disbursed to secure Davido’s appearance and additionally arranged for a chartered plane, costing $18,000, to transport the artist and his entourage to the event venue in Warri. Despite these considerable investments, Davido’s absence has dealt a significant setback to the city of Warri and its residents.

In his frustration, he announced that emerging rapper Shallipopi had stepped in as a replacement for Davido, taking on the role of the event’s headliner.

Furthermore, he levied allegations of egoism against the singer, drawing comparisons between him and his rival, Burna Boy, whom he asserted to be in a league above Davido.
