Elon Musk says risk of him being assassinated is ‘quite significant’

Elon Musk has stated that the possibility of his assassination is “quite significant,” glamsquad reports.

During a two-hour Q&A audio chat on Twitter Spaces, the CEO of the social media platform said he would “definitely” not “be doing any open-air car parades, let me put it that way.”

 

He stated: “To be honest, the risk of something bad happening to me, or even being shot, is quite high.

 

“It’s not difficult to kill someone if you want to, so hopefully they don’t, and fate smiles on me and it doesn’t happen… There is definitely some risk involved.”

 

“At the end of the day,” the self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” added, “we just want to have a future where we’re not oppressed.”

He stated: “[Where] our freedom of expression is not restricted, and we can say whatever we want without fear of repercussions.

“As long as you’re not causing real harm to someone else, you should be able to say whatever you want.”
